The Channel Islands PC Users Group meets at the Boys and Girls Club of Camarillo at 1500 Temple Ave. (South-east corner of Ponderosa Drive and Temple Avenue intersection), Camarillo, California from 9:30AM to 12:00 Noon. There are two early morning classes that meet at 8:30 AM, one for Beginner's Class and one for the Internet. Check the Club's History for further information.
Because we are meeting 10 months out of the year on the 4th Saturday and two months out of the year on the 3rd Saturday due to Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday; the meeting dates for the rest of the year are shown below for your convenience.
Now that we are meeting 10 months on the fourth Saturday and two months on the third Saturday, it is easy to become confused. So, your board has set up an email notification message which you can receive about a week before each general meeting. If you've ever forgotten a meeting, be sure to sign up.

O'Reilly Books has long been a wonderful supporter of User Groups. They have a new program that may well be the model for most reference book sources in the future. For a fee, they have made their entire library of computer books, plus many volumes from Addison-Wesley and Microsoft Press, available online. User Group members can take a free two week tour of the program. Even if you don't use computer reference books much, it may well be interesting to you to see a new way the Internet can be used to provide information. It's a fascinating program with lots of implications.
O'Reilly Books also offers the best discounted book program for user groups in the business. Be sure to stop by their online store for your 35% discount of any title. Use the discount code shown in the banner above.
